Jed responded to our request for an inspection promptly, and made an appointment for the same day. He was on time, and professional. He took readings in multiple areas of our house, explaining the entire process. He let us know when to expect the results, then followed up for any questions we had. Truly professional.

I was not feeling well for a couple of months and suspected mold exposure. (I've suffered from mold exposure before so I am very sensitive to exposure now). [I'm a renter and moved into our new place just a couple of months ago and the previous tenants did not report plumbing leaks to the property owner...] I found Jed and reached out and he was quick to respond to my call and understood the urgency and was able to come and do an inspection the next day. He was very thorough and practical (and affordable!). Once the results came back positive for mold that could cause health problems, he was very patient with all of my questions, and even took the time to chat with my landlord and answer all of their questions, too. (Mold removal can be expensive and an unexpected cost for property owners!) Jed does the testing and does not do the repairs due to his ethics and how this would be a conflict of interest. That being said, Jed was able to objectively give the landlord several recommendations of companies that could do the mold removal. We are in the process now of having the mold removed by a local company and Jed will come back and test to be sure everything is safe. I am so grateful for Jed and his incredible support. If in doubt about mold in your space, give him a call and schedule a test to put your mind at ease.
